This is some pretty great Mexican with several unique twists. Nice vibe and atmosphere, and good drinks and cocktails. And not so inventive and precious it doesn’t fill you up: it does, with generous portions and solid, expected flavors that come with a singular flair. And some exotic choices too if you’re feeling up for it.

The Black Ant provides a great experience of food and drinks. The vibe at the restaurant is vibrant, and the drinks are creative and robust. I would recommend that you try the rabbit enchiladas and fish tacos.

Checked this place out for brunch and it was fantastic! Everything on the menu sounds delicious so we’ll definitely go back. I can easily recommend the steak and eggs or the burger. The drinks are made well too! The mimosa was made with pulpy orange juice which made it taste fresh and refreshing.

Michelin guide did not disappoint! Happy hour on a saturday from 4-7pm, perfect for a dinner. Ordered bunch of tacos and food and every bite was amazing from start to finish! Waiters were very good as well.

Beyond sad to see it close! I used to work here starting out as an extern to becoming a prep cook to becoming one of the chefs and people who helped make this the restaurant what it became. I worked under the great Chef Mario Hernandez, and the memories that I have of this place truly will stay with me forever. The food was amazing and way ahead of its times, all of the accolades they received were well deserved! They had the perfect team, people who truly cared for this business. There will never be another like it!

Came here on a Friday night around 8pm and there were a few open tables for walk ins. The restaurant had a few good options with black ants and grasshoppers. We tried the black ant guacamole and there was an option to have it without the ants. We tried it and couldn’t really feel a difference with the ants being there, but we enjoyed the novelty factor and trying something new. I recommend this place if you are adventurous and want to try something different

We came as a group on Saturday and had the best experience for a bottomless brunch. The food was delicious and the menu offered something for everyone. The bottomless deal is either mimosas or margaritas and our glasses were never empty. The servers were incredible. I would 100% recommend!
